PGN (Portable Game Notation) files allow you to play through the moves in your favourite chess program. In general, the PGN files we provide are very lightly annotated skeleton files.
If available, PGN files are included with the download. We also provide them separately here as the best way to get a complete overview of the content prior to purchase.

Sokolov Explains + Secrets of Positional Sacrifices (download)
Quotes & Reviews
Sokolov is making the middlegame genre his own across his range of books and DVDs, and even through that will always lead to some crossover, he claims this DVD contains 85% of new material.
This is a fine DVD and genuinely instructive, which is suitable for club players upwards. Presumably middlegame DVDs don’t prove as popular as those featuring openings, but this is one that certainly deserves attention.
Sean Marsh, Chess Magazine, October 2016
