I will give a quick break down of those DVDs in this post.
I was rather surprised to see that a new book with the ‘Killer’ title is due for release in December 2011.
Someone in the gingergm team had kept very quiet about that.
Hold up a minute, it is due for release by a company called ‘Everyman’!
A company that I have written a number of books for.
Well, I suppose it is a good name but also a rather cheeky decision by the company.
As you may have heard from reading the ECF forum thread http://www.ecforum.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=3494. The tournament that myself and Adam Hunt were due to play in was cancelled http://www.ajedrezcalamillor.com/en/open.php.
Unfortunately, we only found out about 4 days before we were due to play and obviously by that stage we had paid for our flight and accommodation (there were no conditions).
Another crazy idea from the twisted mind of Gary (let’s ship it to Russia) O’Grady!
It all started as it often does, down the pub on a quiet Sunday afternoon. As usual we were pretending to take part in a very civilised gingergm ‘meeting’.
Before I realised what I had agreed to, Gary had arranged a American tour and two world record attempts!
Well, I say arranged. These ideas rarely lead to anything. The problem is that when Gary’s is involved, these things often do lead to the real deal!
Anyway some more details of the crazy ‘Armageddon Tour’ are given below…

I am going to have a little break from a report on chess today. One of my old best mates, Max Laird, appeared on the channel 4, ‘Seven Dwarves’ program yesterday.
Myself and Max were best mates at middle school and it is good to see him doing well in the world of acting. Always a bit of a character, we did manage to get ourselves into a fair bit of trouble at school but at least it is good to see that we have now matured…

I am happy to announce that the US copies of ‘Killer Grand Prix’ and ‘Killer Endgames’ are finally out.
I am sorry about the delay, we had some problems at the replicators but that has all been fixed now.
Both DVDs are proving to be very popular, so order your copies now!
Everyone at gingergm would like to congratulate Gawain Jones on his excellent victory at the Commonwealth Championships.
Gawain’s rating has now gone over 2600 and he is improving at a rapid rate. His style of play is individual and exciting so keep and eye on his games!
I for one would love to see him playing at the next London Chess Classic. I think that he has fully justified his place in this tournament. Fingers crossed for Ga!
Both DVD’s are now stocked at our warehouse and they are ready to send out.
Delivery after order is normally 2 days. It has been a long wait but we are very happy with the final product.
