Hi David,

I’m sure the crosstable will be forthcoming in time, Simon W and Aly are currently playing at the Swiss Championships I think, looks like he didn’t have time to update the website before they left. I don’t have the full results/games to hand at the moment but I will do my best to get the information asap.

Will you be putting a cross table of the FIDE weekender on the web site? If not, can you possibly email it to me?

Also, are you going to put the games in pgn format and make them available to download?

I am so pleased the tournament was well supported and hope to play in the next one too.

Am still getting nightmares about missing mate in 1 against Rowson – still dunno how it happened…must be old age catching up on me! Will just have to make sure it doesn’t happen again if I ever play him at the British : – )

Yes well done all – brilliant event. Great moment in the blitz playoff when both players stare at the board blind to mate in one (yes Rowson did not know until after the game too:))
